The first thing that teachers should arise in their students is motivation, so they will be interesting and will pay attention to what they are doing and, in this way, pupils will have a real learning.
In the part of mathematic called geometry, it is also needed this motivation and interest and this is why I think that "Origami" is an interesting technique to use with the students in order to teach different geometric figures.
Origami is the technique of making figures or objects with sheets of paper folding them successively. It uses an easy material with which children can work and manipulate in order to create different forms.
Here we have motivational video about some students learning geometry in class through Origami. We can observe how children really love it and it is a different way of learning this subject, so it is a new experience for them.
