Geometry in clothes

In external garments: Geometry is the basis for the design for the graphic design of fashion architecture and all art when designing the forms of our composition and when drawing with the lines and basic forms from the beginning of our design we apply geometry and even an inspiration to apply it to our design as for example in the fashion the straight cuts and the forms and cuts as well as the prints that we can apply to the design.

Geometry in pattern making

it is the procedure of the technical system for the organization of the construction of a garment.

Through this technical system a pattern is developed starting from a design drawn from a drawing of the garment, or a complete set in a plane, complying with the follow-up of some measurements, whether anthropomorphic (standart measurements) or over measures, and carrying a order of procedures or steps, then after the pattern is elaborated, it is taken to the cutting table, to make the stroke on the fabric and cut until finishing in the construction or assembly of a garment.
